Why I Started This Blog
I started this blog to give parents and teachers a safe place to speak up. Sometimes, dealing with school district problems can feel like you are fighting a losing battle. I am here to help you change that.
My goal is simple.I want to keep a close eye on what Texas school districts are doing. I want to make sure the focus stays where it belongs. On the safety and success of our students.
How This Site Can Help You
This site is more than just a place to talk. It is a toolkit for change.
It is designed to help parents to:
- Know Your Rights: Understand the rules so you can stand up for yourself and your students.
- Find Resources: Get access to the tools and information the district might not tell you about.
- Navigate the System: Learn how to handle “red tape” and get real answers from school boards.
You do not have to figure this out alone. You might be a parent trying to protect your child. You might also be a teacher trying to do your job. No matter who you are, I have your back.
